So the doc tells me I need to be more active and get fitter. Why? I’m already active in lifting beer glasses and I’m cool about fitness, as long as it is fit’ness beer in my belly. On a ball game night with the guys I can make 20-plus journeys to the fridge carrying six-packs. Isn’t that a workout? At the end of the day, or night, it’s not about counting calories; it’s about making every sip count. Marathons, gym and a million steps are not working for me. “Exercise” the doc says, and that’s what I’m doing, exercising my rights to a few beers, and a funny T-shirt!
